Wendy Balman, MA, CPCC, PCC, is a certified professional coach. Wendy specializes in one-on-one coaching, supporting people who want to increase their awareness, creativity, and leadership skills, to counteract workplace stress, and renew their energy and capacity to address opportunities and challenges with greater confidence and joy. She believes that people can renew and grow their capacity to create, learn and lead.
Wendy is also co-founder of The Leadership Collaborative, a team of coaches passionate about renewing individual leaders, teams and organizations at their core. The Leadership Collaborative focuses on developing relationship intelligence to create positivity and productivity in work and life.
As a leader, Wendy brings a unique mix of presence, play and insight. And as Past President of the ICF Chicago chapter, she continues to be passionate about growing the profession of coaching in Chicagoland and providing the resources and support coaches need to reach their goals.
As a trainer, Wendy is passionate about developing leadership and communication capacity in others. She founded and is lead trainer at a Chicago-based coaching school based on the ICF 11 core competencies and ethics and geared toward creatives, healers and leaders. As adjunct faculty at Concordia University Chicago, she teaches organizational and group dynamics and communication courses that provide students a way to explore, learn and grow their communication skills in both organizational and personal settings. At Concordia University Irvine she teaches an online course on building healthy culture and performance for Organization Leadership M.A. students through the Townsend Institute.
